HVE Advertising opportunities overview

  • As at July 2014 www.huonvalleyescapes.net receives over 3800 unique visitors per month and growing. (our old site continues with about 300/month and reducing). Nearly four thousand web visitors a month might not sound a lot, until you most importantly understand that these are well engaged readers. Ignoring the single page bounces, 47% spend in excess of 3 minutes on the site and 50% view 3 or more pages. (Including bounces 20% and 21%) They are using HVE as a serious research tool. It is engagement quality, not quantity.
  • Similarly our HVE Facebook page has 540 likes with 20% engaged “talking about”. For the 10 most recent Facebook posts to 15/8/2014, totaled 1345 reached.
  • We cross promote HVE using the high volume of traffic to Huon Bush Retreats, over 800 unique website visitors per month average during the past year and 5700 Facebook likes. For the 10 most recent Facebook posts to 14/8/2014, totaled 2023 reached.
  • We will use a variety of paid and free methods to drive traffic to the HVE website.
  • E-Newsletter has 12,000 subscribers. Click here to see a previous edition.
  • HVE 1/3 A4 flyers distributed to visitor centres, consumers and agents. These provide destinational inspiration and direct consumers to our booking office. We can also distribute your own leaflets.
  • Small run A3 broadsheets for controlled distribution to engaged prospects, eg handed to prospects during conversations at consumer shows.
  • Consumer shows (about 3000 face to face conversations with consumers 2010 - 11)
  • Travel agents through trade shows, seminars, direct relationships, Tourism Tasmania introductions, familiarisation visits.
  • (about 180 face to face conversations were held with agents during 2010 - 11)
