Over 40 percent of Tasmania is protected in national parks and other types of nature reserves. Although you can purchase a one day pass each time you visit a national park, if you will be visiting parks on more than 2 days, it is more economic and convenient to purchase a "Holiday Vehicle" that gets you into all Tasmanian Parks for 2 months.
