A boat trip on Melaleuca Inlet and into Bathurst Harbour, from where you will be able to witness the wilderness from a viewpoint that you are unable to appreciate by air or by foot. Visit the Needwonnee walk, an award winning Aboriginal experience before having refreshments. Return to Cambridge Airport, via the spectacular Eastern Arthurs and Federation Peak, down the Huon Valley and over Hobart City. On the ground at Melaleuca, you'll have the opportunity to explore this special area, potentially having the opportunity to see the rare and endangered Orange-Bellied Parrot. We will also get an opportunity to see the home of Deny King as well as take an interpretive journey along the Needwonnee Walk, an award winning Aboriginal interpretive experience. After morning tea, your pilot will take you to one of our boats and we will head out to Bathurst Harbour where you will be able to witness the wilderness from a viewpoint that you are unable to appreciate by air or by foot. We will pick a remote location for lunch, this may be a beach with no footprints on it, or a quiet cove and we'll stroll up an adjacent hill, which will give an amazing photo opportunity. No matter where we go, you will get an opportunity to experience untouched wilderness, away from any distractions or signs of civilisation. The tour is approximately 8 hours in duration.
