Half Day Wilderness Flight and Cruise

Twin engine comfort from Hobart to the southwest wilderness for a boat cruise and secluded beach picnic.

Flight from Hobart to the South West World Heritage Area, landing at Melaleuca.
Visit the Needwonnee walk, an award winning Aboriginal experience before having refreshments.
A boat trip on Melaleuca Inlet and into Bathurst Harbour, from where you will be able to witness the wilderness from a viewpoint that you are unable to appreciate by air or by foot.
Return to Cambridge Airport, via the spectacular Eastern Arthurs and Federation Peak, down the Huon Valley and over Hobart City.
This tour is approximately 4 hours in duration and includes morning or afternoon tea, departing daily.

Louise and Eileen share the story of their Day in the Wilderness Tour


Mum had always wanted to see the Tasmanian Southwest Wilderness, so I asked Paul and Michael to arrange A Day in the Wilderness for us as part of our Huon Valley Escape.
That's me, Louise, in the black and Mum, Eileen, in blue, as we prepare to board our flight.
This was so much more personal than a big airline flight. Our pilot, Thomas, had explained everything and was now waiting at the plane to help us with our bags and climbing up into our seats.
