Things to do in Spring in Hobart and southern Tasmania
The summer crowds are not yet here, so there are no ques at the attractions and plenty of good deals on accommodation. Experience Spring in Tasmania's south: Hobart, Huon Valley, Channel, Bruny Island and Far South. This is the season for wattle and apple tree blossoms, plus wallaby and possum pouch joeys.

Mount Misery Rainforest and Waterfall WalkStreams flow freely in the wet forest of Mount Misery.
From the car park at Huon Bush Retreats, take the loop track, rainforest spur and waterfall spur. Most people with a moderate level of fitness will complete this walk in around 3-4 hours including breaks. Allow plenty of extra time for photos. Spring brings frequent storms, which replenish the forest streams and waterfalls. Be sure to bring your raincoat. Once we get a bit of rain, the waterfalls will return to their free flowing state.
