Submit Your Bid
  1. Bids are for the total amount for your stay. eg if you want to bid $150 per night for a 3 night stay, you should enter $450 into the bid box.
  2. Bids must be submitted through the form above. By submitting your bid, you request us to consider your bid and if your bid is successful, you authorise us to make a booking and charge your card.
  3. Bids are confidential. We will not disclose previous bids.
  4. We will close bidding, and process the successful bid sometime between 7 days and 12 hours before requested arrival date and time. Standard arrival time is 14:00 but you can arrival any time you want. In general, during busy periods, or if a very attractive bid is received, we might close bidding earlier.
  5. We will assess all bids and choose a successful bidder.  In general, when considering bids, we will take into account: Length of stay, likelihood of selling the room at a different price, number of people, style of accommodation requested, the $ amount that you have bid plus any other factors that we consider relevant. The highest bidder will not necessarily be selected.
  6. Bids must be commercially attractive for us. As a guide 50% of full price might be attractive for a multi night stay midweek in winter but single nights or weekends would need to be around 70% to have any chance of being accepted. Long stays might be accepted at 40% of full price. High bids are likely to be accepted quickly, low bids are likely to sit there until the last day.
  7. If no attractive bids are received, no bidder will be selected. eg, you will just waste your time bidding $150 for a 3 night cabin stay but you might get 3 nights in a tipee for that price if it is a quiet time of year and excludes weekends.
  8. If you are the successful bidder, we will make a booking, charge your card and then advise you. Only the successful bidder will be contacted.
  9. Once we have charged your card, no changes, no refunds.
