TV Advertisement shoot at Huon Bush Retreats

Huon Bush Retreats is one of the participants in the upcoming Huon Trail tourism promotion on Southern Cross Television. Each evening in March, two Huon Trail tourism operators will be presented by Dave Noonan and Kylie Baxter. Huon Bush Retreats invited our Facebook fans to apply to star as "guests" in our segment. Sarah and Daniel were chosen and had a fun couple of hours enjoying the views, having breakfast and indulging in a long bath.
Southern Cross TV Huon Trail Promotion Special:

Pay full rate for the first night and just $10 per person for the second night. Valid now until 1 July 2015. Not valid Friday or Saturday nights, Easter or long weekends. Not valid in conjunction with any other discount.

A Free night at Huon Bush Retreats for two people. Models required for filming

We need two people to model for a video shoot at Huon Bush Retreats. You do not have to be “model looks”, just neat and tidy.

Essential qualifications:
  • Neat and tidy hair, clothes, car etc.
  • A couple or two friends.
  • Available from 10:00am Wednesday 25 Feb 2015. ( Might be postponed at short notice due to inclement weather. )
  • You will need to be comfortable being filmed at various locations around Huon Bush Retreats, including in the bath with a glass of wine. You can wear swimwear if you like.
Email us your pictures and a short description of yourselves. We will advise successful applicants a few days before.

What you get
After the shoot, the food and drink used in the shoot are yours to consume. The cabin is yours from end of shoot until 10:00 next morning.

Draft Schedule for Wednesday 25 Feb 2015
  • 10:00 arrive at HBR for introduction to locations, filming release signing, tidy up etc
  • 12:00 filming at lookout and cabin. A short walk to the lookout, arriving at cabin, preparing simple meal, eating, outdoor bath.
  • 14:00 Filming finished, you have the cabin to yourselves until 10:00 next day.

Draft script
  • Paul at Lookout, face to camera interview or 45 second monologue about overall guest experience at HBR. Background is guests enjoying the view of rainforest.
  • At cabin, video of guests arriving, entering, reading a wildlife book by fire, removing a roast chicken from oven, eating, bath with glass of wine.
