The prize consists of accommodation at multi award winning Huon Bush Retreats plus entry the Ida Bay Railway and Hastings Caves.
At Huon Bush Retreats, the guest comes second. This nature focused accommodation village is set in a 14 square kilometre private habitat reserve. Being carbon neutral is not good enough. The protected and replanted areas take in so much carbon that even after HBR allows for half of each guest carbon emissions travelling to Tasmania, it is 3,800 tonnes per year carbon positive.

Hastings Caves is one of Tasmania's original Eco-experiences. The natural caverns have recently been renovated to remove rubbish left behind and repair the damage that was done in times of less environmental sensitivity.

Ida Bay Railway was originally built as re resource extraction system taking limestone to the carbide smelter. Now restored as a tourist railway, it makes the most of the existing infrastructure to take people to a deserted beach in the Sputhport Wildlife Sanctuary.
